Another year gone
I’m now in my 3rd year of college with 4 weeks left until I go back home. Everybody with me when I say ‘where’d the year go’? This year just feels like it’s gone way too fast, even with the parties, turning 21, the workload, everything. I think it’s too abrupt of an end.
Most of my friends are graduating this year and so, are leaving the school— but it had to happen sometime, right? The things that seemed so important even at just the beginning of the year have lost some of their shine, their allure.
This summer feels like it’s going to either be another step into the real world— it’s just a matter of the direction I take it in. For me and my family’s sake, I’m hoping that I can get an internship that’ll set me up for a good direction in life. Hopefully.
